its very hard to beleive this is the last day of sept its in the 70s and soooo muggy!!!! this is july weather not sept/oct..nothing to spectacular going on Geneva has been playing really great field hockey this yr.. the whole team is i see such an improvement from last yr they mite be in the finals!!! jim went to dr yesterday and really does have copd...he is on sprivia and sees a difference already!! hopefully if he can breath better he will attempt to exersice and we can get this wieght off him. the leaves are beautiful looking out the front window it makes me remember i do have alot to be thankful for...we have no money..really...but we have a great family.wonderful thoughtful girls beautiful grandbabies and each other

well its a very cool rainy day in maine but we really need the water.. the poor ducks in the pond keep getting stuck in the mud!! well not really but they sure could..but its still been a great sept. jim and i have got a lot of riding in but the bike is in the shop and its not looking good for the good guys!! i think the carborator needs to be rebuilt so it looks like our riding season got cut a little short but at least its at the end of the season not the beginning cuz its gonna be awhile before we can get it back..i rfeally wanted to post more pics of the weekend at camp an im sure i will figure it out but for now its just one at a time..the kids are doing great in school..geneva is holding her A  average she is in the 7th grade..when did that happen??? james is doing much better this year and as been diagnosed with adhd but we are still going with no meds and using postive action to help...nevada is loving her first yr of school and little davey is standing up by himself and i predect will be walking soon...my grandchildren are the light of my life for sure...

what a day...weather was nice and sunny but a real cool breeze that screamed of Fall!! had to go to bangor to hold the hand of my youngest daughter Donna-Kaye while she went to the dr. its nice to know that even in her 30s she still needs her mommy and then she took her sister and me to lunch at Ruby Tuesdays which was soooo nice to eat at a grown-up resteraunt!! with no kids except little davey..he is donna-kayes youngest and is only 8 months old and is sooooooooo cute to be around..and he eats everything in site. she also as a little girl age 5 that just started school this year

its been a really nice week weather wise..its been fall-ish but still up in the 70's but got down to 45 last nite and we stayed toasty warm in the new house with no heat on!!! yeah us.. well we went to camp on moose pond this past weekend and it was cold enough to have the heat on fri nite but sat was wonderful..jim(my husband) and kids papa fished but too windy to catch anything..welll thats is excuse anyway LOL we had a campfire with somaoas and hot dogs and believe it or not it was the grandchildrens first campfire ..Geneva is 11 although she will be 12 in a few day..hard to beleive...and james is 7...we call him Bud or Buddy most of the time... hope you enjoy the pictures

history 1

now for a little history of myself...my name is faylene and i grew up in a little town in Maine...i was a teenager in the 70's...yes they really did exsist!!!and the times were very good although im sure as a teen i didnt think so...i come from a broken home ,,thats what we called it back then..pretty much now its called normal but i went to live with my aunt and uncle when i was 9 and things got pretty good from there..our town was the kind the town where you started kindergarden and granduated with the same kids...we used to play in the school yards and sidewalks and never had to worry about being picked off the street unless it was by some ones mom catching you doing something wrong!! and all the moms did..it didnt matter which kids were yours all the moms looked out for all the kids...

i didnt blog much this past week ...migrains tend to do that to me but today is ok...its a typical fall day only in the 60s with a nice fall breeze..i walked to moms and bac and thats about 6 miles maybe 5 and half, so today seemed like a good day to pack away the summe and dig out the winter(yuck) clothes...the only problem is i gained so much wieght i really have noting to wear and i refuse to buy bigger so i really need to get serious about this ..oh let see about  2yrs ago i went through a really emotional roller coaster and after a life time of over wieght issues dropped 65lbs and wow did i feel good..emotionaly and phically..i was walking 10miles a day and my knees didnt hurt any more and i had so much energy to play football with my little grandson but over the past 6months or so ive put on35lb!!! i say no more!! im in charge again.

it is another very hot day in maine...up in the 90 which is very uncomman for us but as long as the ac holds out we will be fine..ive decided to use this blog as a up to date diary but also a place to tell my history so my grandchildren have a way of finding out that mimi was a real person with real issues as a child ..teenager..and young adult and just maybe they will find a story or a piece of advice that will help them too, but first for today..exptremely hot and i got the doggy cookies done..im unable to work and need a way to make money and ive always wanted to try my hand at a cottage business i guess thats what they call it these days...so making crafts such as soap..bathbombs..doggy treats..sewing crafts mite not make me my millions but hopefully will bring in a jingle and keeps me busy....im doing the soap making with my youngest daughter donna-kaye..and hopefully my oldest shannon will help me with the other stuff..even what little i did today as my wrist on fire but at least i have hands and wrist to hurt when there is many who dont... with any luck at all i will post some pics of my doggy treats...remember this is pretty much my first try at this particular type of cookie

ok well the day is almost gone now and i cant even begin to remember what i wrote this morning but that seems to happen alot after the age of 50!!!  i know i was complaining...i mean comenting on the weather!! its been as high as 97 here today and when the weather man starts the day out with "keep your windows closed even if you dont have ac" its gonna be a HOT day...

oh yeah and i was gonna cook today but couldnt cuz even though i live on a dairy farm i seem t have no milk or eggs..whats up with that!!! the milk truck came this morning so no milk til the "girls" give it up this evening and the hens seem to be on strike but i went out and spoke to them earlier and told them if i didnt see some eggs soon that i was gonna indroduce them to the freezer!!! im thinking i will be having eggs soon LOL
